Day 1 – Travel Time via Night Train, from Hanoi Station to Lao Cai
Your tour guides will go to meet you at your hotel in Hanoi at 7pm and take you to the train station in the city for the night train bound for Lao Cai province. Sit back and relax as the night comes and goes. Enjoy your first adventure of the trip as you travel for ever more exciting destinations.
From your hotel, you will be accompanied to the train station, where you can take the night train. The train includes a 4-soft sleeper A/C shared cabin inside. Meats are not covered.
Day 2 – Arrival in Lao Cai, Trek in Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, Home Stay at Ta Van
The train will drop you off at Lao Cai station at 6am. Next you will join the one-hour car ride up the hilly terrain to the scenic town of Sapa, and on the way there, you will personally get to see the beautiful landscapes of the countryside and the amazing rice terraces. Breakfast will be served shortly after your arrival in Sapa Town.
Spruce up before before setting out on the adventure and tour of a lifetime, a full 12km of trekking in the villages of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, where the H’mong people have made their homes. Enjoy lunch as a guest of one of the town’s families or as a fellow in a drinking shop by the bank of the river.
After this, we’ll continue on hiking to Ta Van village, home of the Giay people. Take a rest as the guest of a very hospitable Giay family, in whose home you will stay overnight, your very own Home Stay. Here you will get to see and personally experience the people’s everyday life, the work they do, and their customs and traditions.
After coming from Lao Cai station and arriving in Sapa Town, you will be part of the full 17km trek. An English-speaking guide will accompany you and the group. Today will be the night of your Home Stay at the home of a local Giay family. Unwind deeply and relax. Enjoy a full set of meals for the day with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 3 – Trekking in Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan, Return to Lao Cai Station
Make sure to get a full breakfast in, because the next thing we’ll do is embark on an 8km walking adventure to the two villages of Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan, where the red Dzao and H’mong people live. You will get to personally see the beautiful waterfall and the rattan bridge. Look around at all the scenery and landscapes surrounding you as we make our way through the bamboo forest.
When we reach the main road, we’ll take the jeep to go back to Sapa Town. When the late afternoon comes, we’ll accompany you back to Lao Cai station and see you off before you get on the night train to Hanoi. You will be back in Hanoi by 530am of the following day.
You will go on an 8km trekking adventure with the company of an English-speaking guide. Before you start your quest, try out the freshen-up services that are part of your travel package. Breakfast and lunch are included as part of your meal plan. Toward the end of the day, we’ll come with you as you go back to Lao Cai station.

Transportation from Hanoi to Sapa
We provide Bus transport or Train ride from Hanoi to Sapa for your convenience. Our bus has a capacity of 15 pax excluding our driver thus you can travel individually or as a group.
Bus transport from Hanoi to Sapa is faster and will take between 4 – 5 hours while a Train ride from Hanoi to Sapa will take between 9-10 hours.
Prices for both bus and train ticket is estimated to be USD50-90 and is subjected to change due to off-peak and peak season.
